LEADERS IN HEALTH EDUCATION

Health Education Prevention & Promotion, Inc. (HEPP) develops and promotes programs aimed at improving health of racial and ethnic minority population living in South Florida. Our unique approach of education is based on developing trust among participants and the element of repetition. Most of the health education program are provided in 3 sessions and includes expert guest speakers such as nutritionist, fitness trainers, mental health providers and nurse practitioners or physicians........

COMMITTED TO REDUCING HEALTH DISPARITIES

To improve health and the quality of life of all persons in minority communities in South Florida who have or are at risk of having diabetes, cancer, heart disease and other chronic diseases. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the burden of disability and death from diabetes, cancer, heart disease and other chronic diseases through education, prevention and early detection.

SCREENING PROGRAMS

The goal of our screening program is to link the community to screening services. HEPP has developed an individualized screening program whereby each person registered for screening through HEPP receives one on one guidance throughout the screening process. HEPP offers a limited number of free mammograms, clinical breasts exams and Pap Tests to those who qualify.
